Summary (3). Individual Reading. Somerset Moem: "The Moon and Sixpence". Part 3

So, the narrator and Strikland had a nice talk. Strikland confessed that he was not going to return to his wife as he does,t love her any more and doesn't has any feelings to his children. He also said that now he is fond of painting and wanted to learn it seriously. The narrator was shoked as Strikland was so straight in his answeres and this waqs no way to bring him over. On his return, he visited Mrs Strikland and told her everything. She was shoked the reason of his behavior and decided that she hates him from that very moment.

    He also said that now he WAS fond of painting and wanted to STUDY it seriously.
    The narrator was shoCKed as Strikland was so straight in his answerS and this WAS no way to bring him over.
    She was shoCked BY the reason of his behavior and decided that she hateD him from that very moment.
