Rendering 12.

The next article is also concerned to the theme cinema. It is published on the website, but unfortunately it has no the date of publication and the name of the author. The article is about a famous film "2012", the premiere of which was in 2009.

The theme of that film is very close to the other Roland Emmerich's (the director) films: Independence Day (1996) or The Day After Tomorrow (2004).
The film explores the idea of a global doomsday event coinciding with the end of the Mayan Long Count Calendar's current cycle.
The film goes through every American film cliché: Cusack as a father so busy with his job that he has no time to dedicate to his children; Danny Glover as an idealistic American president; Ejiofor as the man who cares about people's rights; Platt as the man who cares only about himself; and Woody Harrelson as a man who saw it all coming but was thought crazy.
I had watched it twice already with the tears on my eyes)To say the truth this film is just another film about Americans saving the world.
